A free scan that only ever completes on a whale is a product that cannot be checked by the people it is for. This page is the ordinary-scale run: five on-chain events, a public address, a published cutoff, and a balance that tied out to the wei.

This is not tax advice. It is a measured scan, with the limits named.

What we scanned

The cutoff is not cosmetic. Without it this address later accumulates spam-token history past the free 500-event cap. The slice we publish is the slice that fits the free scan — the same slice a self-filer with a quiet 2021 would actually get.

What came back

Verified against production on 2026-08-06:

There is no phantom-gain dollar figure on this page because this window did not produce one. Publishing a round number here would be inventing a claim the scan did not make.

Why this is the public example

The Vitalik cluster run (method and $44,975,739 figure) is our engine compared with itself — wallet linking on vs off — on a famous public set. It is not a measured error in Koinly or CoinTracker. It is also not the wallet a searcher brings.

This page is. Five events. Tie-out matched. Re-run it on /check with the completing sample (the button fills this address and the 2021-12-31 cutoff).

How to reproduce

  1. Open Verilot Check.
  2. Press Try a small real wallet (completes).
  3. Run the free scan.
  4. Read the balance tie-out table. The row should match.

If a future re-run fails tie-out, this page will say so rather than keep a number it can no longer stand behind.
